Tax Attorney Long Island

What are the guidelines for naming your own business, and how do I know if it is going to be LLC, Inc., Co.,etc. I would be selling some various retail items, and not employing anyone other than family. I’m not sure at this point if I want to lease commercial space or try to start off just selling from home. Do I need to schedule a meeting with my attorney to find out about liability, paying taxes, etc. or with my accountant? I really just need help with the technicalities and laws, as I know very little about being a business owner. Any ideas on where to begin?

recourse does the living next of kin have. They live in the home of the deceased (willed to her). The mailman had a certified letter from the IRS and she refused to sign for it stated that her mother was deceased. She is concerned that they may try to gain entry into the home. My question is this can the IRS come into the home for any reason and if so would they have to have a warrant. Who is responsible for the tax debt of the deceased/

I’m in a somewhat complex situation and I would appreciate any help.

Long story short: I graduated in May and have been working as a paralegal since June in the next town over from my home in PA. (I also still live with my parents, and am still a dependent) The attorney I work for does not take anything out of my paycheck, he simply agreed to pay me XXX amount each week (sometimes one every couple of weeks), and I have been keeping an excel sheet of this. I also have used my car at least 13x to go to court. But, I estimate that, by Dec 31, I will have made less than $4000 this year.

Also, until I graduated, I worked part time in the research office for my school. THEY, of course, took out necessary taxes, as I saw on my paycheck.

Am I allowed to deduct things like gas mileage from my taxes if I’ve been keeping tabs? If so, is it worth it to hire a tax consultant such as H&R block? Or should I just do federal and state taxes myself using Turbo Tax?

Is there any IRS or Tax problem to add someone on a tourist visa to add in your checking bank account?
I wanted to know if I can add my wife in my bank account while she is still in a tourist visa to USA?

I was told that there is an IRS power of attorney that is necessary to file taxes. If someone used a military special power of attorney to file my taxes, is it still legally valid or is it illegal.

i have custody over a 17 year old minor and gave temporary power of attorney to the people she is residing with, am i still able to carry her in our tax forms. please and thank you for any advice given

Someone else claimed their baby on their tax return

My brother has to file his taxes this year, but he is incarcerated. He said that because I have Power of Attorney over him, that it should be no problem why I could not file for him.

And who is reasonably priced or who will accept payments. Thank you!

The IRS says my friend owes a large chunk of money from 1991 (including interest and penalties). He isn’t so sure. Thanks in advance for your help everyone!
