I filed tax with my husband last year. And by then, I didn’t have my own saving account. And now I am confused. I am not sure if I need to reveal the information of my saving account to our accountant this year.

I did my taxes on my computer and saved them on my hard drive. I also printed out a copy of the 2005 tax return. Our house caught on fire and burned to the ground therefore destroying my computer and the printed return. I did my taxes through turbotax, but I used my email from an old ISP and cant get into that account.

We are starting a “child custody war” to gain majority time (full custody) of my 10 year old stepson from his mother (in washington state). We are obviously the better parents, she always leaves him unsupervised, and doesn’t spend much time with him, but wants him more than 50% so she can get state money and claim him on her taxes. It’s sad.
We are meeting with our attorney today to get it all started. But what kind of information is he going to want/need about us and her? Because at $200/hr I just want to be as prepared as possible!!! Thanks for any help!!

i received an email saying i won $800,000 us dollars from yahoo lottery in china ,they give me number to call wish i did then the agent has email me the funds are at payee industrial and commercial bank of china and provide with another phone number to call the man in division of the money transfer ,after i called him he provided me with a lawyer that suppose to do the paper work to pay tax on the funds before he will be able to transfer me my winning price ,so i got in touch with the firm and they ask me to pay them 7,500 us dollars via western union ,and emailed me a power of attorney plus the man at the bank ask me to email him copy of my drivers license,i called him saying i can not afford to pay the lawyer all that money ,so he said he is gonna help me to apply for a loan to pay and when the lawyer present to the bank the tax paper work the loan will be deducted from the price,so did sign all the papers via email , i receive nothing and they have all my information , & i ‘m worry

I sued my divorce attorney in small claims for his overcharging and I won. Since my father was paying my divorce attorney for me he has also filed a second lawsuit in small claims. The attorney has mailed to my father every correspondence between my ex-husband’s attorney and himself including emails between him and I relating to my divorce. I have nothing to hide but this is very personal to me since I was married to an abusive husband and did not want my father to read. Did he break any laws with attorney-client confidentiality?

My 17 year old has a deadbeat dad who lives in Ohio and has never paid a cent of child support. He could not be located when I got a divorce because I had no information for him. Child support wasn’t set because I did not have his social security number at the time either. He believes he can outsmart everyone because he moves from city to city and shacks up with women who keep everything in their name.
He works construction and is paid under the table. I’ve been searching for information on him for years silently and never found anything. Well as luck would have it, I “heard” that he had an on the job injury and has a lawsuit open and is suing for over 50,000.00 .
Can anyone tell me if I can find this claim or find out where his lawsuit is? How is it possible for him to have such a lawsuit if he was paid under the table?
I also have reason to believe he hasn’t filed with the IRS for years or has filed false information. Wouldn’t the government get involved QUICK when they know he has evaded taxes for years and is coming into all this money?
I need a good attorney who could go after him so bad that he receives nothing but what he deserves.
I just need to know what to do and where to go and get information I need. I would love to hear from someone who has been through a similar circumstance.
I also now live in Florida and the Divorce was granted in Ohio.
They awarded no child support at that time due to the unknown whereabouts of his Father. The divorce papers did say that they retain jurisdiction to set an order in the future, including setting support retro active to the date of the final hearing. This was in April-2000.
I also went to the Child Enforcement Agency in December of 2000 and they also couldn’t find him and as a result no support was issued. How do women get child support when they cannot locate the Father. Shouldn’t a warrant for his arrest be issued?
One other piece of information. I did some recent research and found that he was arrested less than 2 months after my divorce was final. Why couldn’t they find him?! I went to the Child Support Enforcement Agency 5 months after he was arrested for passing bad checks!
If Ohio couldn’t find information to collect child support after he went to jail for bad checks, then how do they collect from anyone?

the attorney general says their resources are limited and i have to do a lot of the research myself. i have no idea where to begin to prove his assets exceed his “reported” income.
the attorney general’s office has a child support division. they are the ones who reviewed our case. and they reviewed his income tax return. but he has other income, that is over seas. his assets are far greater than the income he is filing for. they say it’s up to me to prove this.
